LOS ANGELES, CA - Marinello Schools of Beauty, the West Coast’s largest and longest-established chain of beauty schools, bestowed the top three winners of the Miss El Salvador USA 2009 pageant with $2,000 scholarships toward any of its programs.
Last Friday, Kimberly Benítez, Miss La Unión, was crowned Miss El Salvador USA 2009, while Zaira Torres, Miss San Salvador, and Kimberly Bojorquez, Miss Santa Ana, were first and second runners up.
Marinello joined La Prensa de Los Angeles and Jennifer International Events as a sponsor of the Miss El Salvador USA 2009 Pageant. One of the most important Latin beauty events in Los Angeles, the Miss El Salvador USA Pageant celebrates the beauty,
sophistication and intelligence of Salvadoran women and the culture of El Salvador. The pageant showcased 14 young ladies between the ages of 15 to 24, of Salvadoran descent and living in the United States.
“Winning the Miss El Salvador USA pageant is like a dream come true,” commented Kimberly Benítez, the new Miss El Salvador USA 2009, “I get to represent the Salvadoran community in Los Angeles and start my career in beauty at Marinello Schools of Beauty.”
