"Our campus invited a group of children with autism to come in for a beauty day. The boy who I performed a manicure on was autistic and deaf, but had a smile that warmed my heart more than anything. I cannot recall doing something so fulfilling and heart-warming in all my life. Thank you for this opportunity!" Hillary Hunter, Marinello Schools of Beauty – Palmdale
The faculty and students at Marinello Schools of Beauty feel privileged to spend our days teaching, learning, and growing. We get to be part of a profession that is dedicated to making our clients feel good about themselves…to making them even more beautiful on the outside while nourishing and encouraging their inner beauty. At the same time, our faculty, alumni and students are enjoying, or well on their way to enjoying, a successful and in-demand career. Everyone in the extended Marinello “family” feels privileged to be a part of the beauty profession, and that’s why giving back to their community is an important part of life at each of our campuses.
This page showcases our Marinello faculty and students out in their communities, giving generously of their time and skills to help others. We applaud them and we take great pride and pleasure in sharing these stories and photos of their activities with you and showing you how much Marinello CARES!
Students at Marinello’s Ogden campus volunteered their services to the Miss Wheelchair Utah 2009 pageant. The eleven contestants were pampered and treated to glamorous hairstyles for the competition. Students enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity in such an exciting event.
Lake Forest and Huntington Beach Campuses Students and instructors at our Lake Forest and Huntington Beach campuses partnered with UCI and Miyohara International to provide hair, make-up and nail services to over 50 breast cancer survivors, in the process showing off not only their talents, but also their compassionate hearts. Students are pictured attending a pre-briefing and then in a group photograph moments before providing services to the breast cancer survivors at the hospital.
Lake Forest and Huntington Beach Campuses
Students at our Lake Forest and Huntington Beach campuses supported the staff of Sunrise Assisted Living’s “Martini’s and Manicures” event to thank healthcare professionals. The Marinello students provided manicuring services to over 50 participants.
"I have never had a more beautiful set of teachers and staff in my entire life. My whole experience at the school has been wonderful. I would not have chosen another school to save my life."
