Meet Our Educators
As a little girl with a flair for music and art, Adriana Lopez fell in love with the beauty industry. This led her to pursue a career as a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. Along the way she discovered that majority of the disciplines she learned in art such as contouring, blending, and color theory translated seamlessly to makeup artistry. Adrianas areas of expertise cover all facets of makeup including film and television, fashion, commercial print, gore, and bridal makeup. Her makeup work has been described as "clean and flawless" by industry colleagues. In 2009, she became a Makeup Instructor at Marinello Schools of Beauty.
If there's one thing Nina Gonzales genuinely enjoys, it's pushing boundaries. Her time working in a tattoo parlor in 2006 enabled her to appreciate the art in its truest form and inspired her to experiment with makeup designs beyond basic beauty techniques. Because of her desire for professional growth through continuing education, she has excelled in airbrush makeup, spray tanning, face painting, and special effects. After nine years of technical experience, Nina was welcomed into Marinello Schools of Beauty as an Esthetics Instructor. Currently, she is an Education Specialist in Makeup and Esthetic for the schools Corporate Education Department.
Monica Caldera is an accomplished makeup artist and hairstylist in the entertainment industry. Her niche includes character makeup, airbrushing and studio hairstyling. Besides teaching specialty workshops at Marinello Schools of Beauty, she has been working with Lieberman Broadcasting, Inc. for the past seven years as the official stylist of nationally broadcasted Estrella TV. Monica's first paid assignment was back in 2005 as an airbrush makeup artist for a feature film starring hip-hop music artist Snoop Dogg. With her tremendous talent and outgoing personality, she is consistently booked for film productions, fashion editorials and runways.
Sarah Nelson found her true calling in esthetics and has been a practicing licensed master esthetician for 16 years. She now serves as the Laser Education Specialist for Marinello Schools of Beauty. Continuing her education in skincare, she has received multiple certifications in various specialties. Prior to teaching at the school, she worked for a prominent plastic surgeon in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sarah attends beauty trade shows and conferences to enhance her skills and enjoys learning about the latest findings and technology in the industry. She is well known for her mastery of medical esthetics and great passion for teaching. Her dedication to education makes her an asset to the team.
Yvette is an accomplished artist that has been doing makeup for over 7 years. Born and raised in southern California, she began doing special fx makeup in 2004 but fell into the beauty world in 2008, where her love began to grow as a Makeup Artist. She received her Esthetician License at Marinello Schools of Beauty to further pursue her career specializing in print, beauty, fashion, film, runway, and bridal. With the love she carries in the makeup field, she continues to teach others on how to enhance their beauty not just from the outside, but within.
Christine is a makeup artist specializing in TV, film, commercials, print, pageants and bridal. She has worked closely with Grammy-nominated musicians like Los Tigres Del Norte, Michelle Chappel and local sports stars on the San Jose Sharks and Earthquakes. She was also the lead makeup artist for renowned international couture designer, Collen Quen's recent fashion show in San Francisco. In October 2010, Christine was the lead makeup artist for the Victoria Secret Holiday Conference. Christine is also an educator and trains aspiring makeup artists. Her passion for the art of beauty is only outweighed by her passion for people.
Vanessa Concetti advanced her career becoming a licensed esthetician in 2006. Using her professional license, Vanessa quickly began working in beauty salons and medical offices. Following her true passion for makeup artistry, she began providing makeup services for special occasions like weddings. She specializes in airbrush makeup and spray tanning. In 2008, Vanessa joined Marinello Schools of Beauty as an instructor for the advanced esthetics program and for makeup. Her passion as an educator is demonstrated inside the classroom as she cultivates her students to step outside the boundaries creating the best outcome for every client.
Tara Raschello - a gal on a beauty mission to transform the everyday woman to shine her very best. At a very young age, Tara discovered she had a passion for making others feel good and look fabulous. With over 10 years in the beauty industry Tara hears what her clients say and delivers. She started her own company, Ooh La La Artistry, and is determined to shine above the rest. “Every woman I meet is beautiful and I have the honor of making them look and feel even more.”
Britton Atchley is a freelance make-up artist for beauty and fashion, special effects, is a certified wardrobe stylist. In 2001, Britton attended Make-Up Designory in Burbank, CA. Since completing her training, she has continued to work as a freelance make-up artist and wardrobe stylist on numerous projects across the United States. Specializing in film, print, television, bridal, and runway, Britton is highly experienced and working to take herself to the next level. Her work can be seen in various magazines such as, Us Weekly, Boston Scene Magazine, and Inked Magazine, just to name a few. Britton’s training and knowledge of make-up continues to grow daily as she educates future make-up artists, in hopes that they too pursue their passions in the beauty industry.
Jose Perez is a professional makeup artist with a passion for perfection. He puts the 'art' in artist. He is based out of Connecticut, but travels to other areas. He went to a modeling school where he learned acting, photography, modeling and make-up artistry. Jose has practiced makeup since the age of fourteen, providing makeup services for weddings, fashion shows, photo shoots and theater. He worked for Macy's and Sephora as their top makeup artist. Jose’s ultimate goal is to teach others and inspire them in pursuing their dreams in the beauty industry.
Silvia has been a makeup artist for a talent management agency since 2009, where she works with people of all ages and genders. She has also done work for private photo shoots and occasionally for TV commercials. Silvia’s work consists mostly of beauty makeup for all occasions. She specializes in eye tabbing, extensions, and eyebrow design. Silvia teaches makeup application techniques and has brought her education skills to Marinello Schools of Beauty.
Winter Aunnette Carson
Winter Carson is committed to transforming and bettering the confidence of women through beauty. As a recent graduate of Brio Academy, Winter has worked at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week alongside some of the best independent fashion designers of her hometown in New Haven, CT. Winter operates a freelance business as MadameBlush, where she caters to private clientele with services for weddings, fashion shows, proms, special occasions and private consultations. Winter also has a background in retail and operations at some of the industry’s top beauty retailers like ULTA and Sephora. Her latest position as a beauty instructor at Marinello Schools of Beauty allows her to contribute to the community by teaching hands-on courses in facial feature enhancement, makeup and eyelash extensions. Winter aspires to deliver her passion and knowledge to students with a unique sense of style and wit.
Joby Rogers has been a professional certified celebrity makeup artist for over 15 years and continues working as a makeup artist educator. Joby has worked for celebrity photographers such as David LaChapelle, Harrison Funk, Eric Johnson and Shaul Swartz of Newsweek and Time magazines. Joby’s makeup work has appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, People, Marie Claire, Forbes, NY Fashion Week, Essence and USA Today. Joby has been in the entertainment business for over 30 years also performing worldwide as an internationally recognized Michael Jackson tribute artist.
