Development and use of videos, charts, reference materials, mannequins in creating educational aids.

Grading procedures, styles, methods, performance evaluations. Learner results, special learner needs, barriers and study skills.

State Board requirements, State regulations and laws, preparing for licensure, job seeking, interviews, creating a portfolio, first aid.

The course length is divided into both technical classroom instruction and practical experience in the science and art of teaching. You will receive traditional classroom training; however, the majority of training is learned through hands-on exercises mentored by an experienced instructor. This format provides an exceptional learning experience that prepares students with a solid background for teaching in Cosmetology or Esthetics programs.
