Beauty School Celebrates New Campus with Special Promotions, Fashion Show, Ribbon Cutting and Cut-A-Thon Fundraiser

WHITTIER, Calif., May 8, 2014 - Marinello Schools of Beauty, a leading national brand of beauty schools, has relocated its Topeka campus to a brand-new space located at 109 SW 29th Street. The campus will celebrate its new location by hosting a series of grand opening promotions and events for the public Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 30:

Tuesday, May 27: Day of Beauty
Know someone that deserves some pampering or a makeover? Marinello is encouraging Topeka residents to nominate their deserving friends, family members or significant others either in person at the Topeka campus or at www.marinello.com/makeover from May 12-22. Marinello will select five winners to receive a day of beauty on May 27 with complementary hair and makeup services and clothing provided by JCPenny.
Additionally, Marinello is offering all high school students who show their student I.D. a free haircut, clipper cut or blow dry.

Wednesday, May 28: Ribbon Cutting
Join Marinello students and staff for the new Topeka campus’ official ribbon cutting with the Topeka Chamber of Commerce. Students will be showcasing recent work, and there will be light refreshments.

Thursday, May 29: 50’s Fashion Show
Marinello students are taking it back to the “Nifty Fifties” with a fun fashion show to showcase hair and makeup creativity at 2 p.m. Guests are invited to support current Marinello students and vote for their favorite 1950’s inspired look. Prizes will be given to all voters.

Friday, May 30: Cut-A-Thon in support of Military Veteran Project
Support the Military Veteran Project with a $7 haircut from Marinello Schools of Beauty. All proceeds will be donated to the Military Veteran Project, an organization whose mission is to unite, educate and empower military veterans and families through program support.

Special Promotion May 27-30:
Every Marinello client who buys one enhancement will get one free with the purchase of a hair service. Enhancements include: Makeup Application (eye or lip), Eco-fin hand treatment, strip eyelashes, Vinyl Service (Cellophane and Conditioning Treatment). The campus also will be raffling a daily gift basket of Sebastian hair products.

The new and modern Marinello Schools of Beauty, Topeka campus can accommodate more than 100 students and features four manicure stations, six pedicure stations and 32 cosmetology stations. The school includes fully interactive classrooms with media centers, a student lounge, break room, student computer lab and career service center in its more than 8,039 square feet of space. The new equipment, stations and classrooms will provide students with access to the latest in learning tools.

Programs offered at Marinello Schools of Beauty, Topeka campus include Cosmetology, Nail Technology and Makeup Artistry.
